Tonight, Nitidus have released their first new song in over two years! Head over to Myspace and listen to 21 Alibis, the title song from our recent US tour. 21 Alibis is one of several demo tracks that were recorded in Marki’s mobile studio sporadically since January this year. Most of you who have been to see our rock shows this year will no doubt recognise the song. 21 Alibis highlights a new groove-rock style that the band has been creating in its current line-up. We feel it is the next evolution of the Nitidus sound and hope you enjoy this first taste.

It’s been almost two years since we shared all four full tracks from the Still Here EP on Myspace. Initially intended to be a limited-time offer, the tracks proved to be quite popular and had stayed ever since. Now that we’re back from the States and have some new demos completed, we figured it was about time to share some new sounds with you guys. Keep an eye out, there’s more of the good stuff on the way. Spread the word.

Eltham High School students had a special lunch time treat last Friday, and we’re not talking about salsbury steak!  Nitidus unleashed a wild rock concert in the school hall and raised money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.  The band gave away a bunch of CDs, t-shirts and badges, and things got really crazy during the finale when the kids mobbed the stage!  You can see it all on our Flickr photo gallery.

The boys have settled back in Melbourne after their wild tour of Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and everywhere in between.  Check out the Nitidus Flickr group for tour photos, as well as some great shots from recent Melbourne shows.

Hey rockers, Nitidus are officially on the road in LA. Marki and Adam made the journey across the Pacific Ocean a few days before PC and myself (Doctor K). The band finally reunited in West Hollywood, as you can see in our first video on the tour.

Before our first gig date at the Key Club, the band will be taking a few days to get in tune with the local culture by checking out Universal Studios and cruising down Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevards. Keep an eye on Flickr for photo highlights. Stay tuned for more updates as Nitidus get ready to rock LA!

After months of planning, it’s time to official announce the Nitidus LA tour! The boys will be rockin’ up the west coast of North America from June 21 until July 17. Show dates to be announced soon.

You can help Nitidus raise funds by ordering some of Australia’s finest wines (we know, we’ve tasted them).
