The last few months have been filled with ad hoc recording sessions for vocals, guitar and more as we piece together what will finally become the new Nitidus EP. Not far to go now.

Please note, our show at The Espy has been brought forward a week, so make sure you mark Thursday 16th June for the next NITIDUS rock show.  We have also been quite productive in the recording studio last week, so check out the studio report.

Guitar tracking continues and the new sound is starting to take form. To quote PC This new recording makes A.S. It Is sound like a demo… and I love that CD!, so naturally we can’t wait for you all to hear it.

Production has picked up again at Adrian Hannan’s home studio for the recording of guitars, bass and vocals and the rest. Today was Marki’s day to shine, and shine he did with the completion of the bass tracks for four songs

OK, someone forgot to tell the webmaster that Monday night’s recording session was postponed.  Sorry for the confusion everybody, but rest assured we’ll be recording very soon.  In other news, Star Wars is out and Doc gives it the thumbs up.  “It was just as I expected it to be, no more, no less.  The fans will dig it”.

The bass tracks have been recorded last night for what looks to be a very promising new EP. We will have full details for you soon in the Studio Report. There will also be new live photos online soon, but right now our webmaster is too busy geekin’ out about the final Star Wars movie (less than 2 days to go!).

Recording has begun on the next NITIDUS EP. Our boys of rock entered Pearcedale Studio on Saturday 19^th March to lay down some phat drum tracks. This will be the first appearance of Doctor K on a NITIDUS release. Ash will debut his signature riffs and licks at an upcoming recording session, along with new sonic offerings from PC and Marki.

Many thanks to Mark Grondman for operating the boards on Saturday, and to Bill Irvin for lending us the studio (we must have sounded alright, because he was listening in during the entire session).
