Vote on Triple M’s Unsigned Find

Firstly, congratulations to HR King for winning the Perisher Launch Your Band Australian music competition for his song Fearless. Of course that also means that Nitidus didn’t win unfortunately… but for every door that closes, another opens and once more we put the call out to you awesome people to flex your voting power.

Adam has entered some Nitidus tracks to Triple M’s Unsigned Find competition (cheers Adz!). The competition is run via the social networking website OurStage and, as of this writing, The Taste is sitting at 317th in the competition. You guys can help change that and potentially win some cash in return. Here’s how to enter (taken from the website):

From April 1, start judging in the Triple M Unsigned Find channel.
You’ll automatically be entered to win $5,000! Each vote = 1 entry into the draw.

2008 National Musicoz Awards

Nitidus have entered into Australia’s biggest song writing competition: the National Musicoz Awards! Musicoz is a national initiative dedicated to improving the quality of original music culture in Australia. They’re highly influencial in the independent music scene with many success stories including Sick Puppies, Sender and Porcelain.

This is huge, and once again you and your friends can get involved by voting up Nitidus. Not only will it help take the Nitidus rock show to a bigger stage, but you could win an awesome Maton guitar just for voting! Sweet!

Here’s the low down from Musicoz:

To vote for this artist, SMS the code niti and then a brief reason why you think they should win (in 10 words or less) e.g.: “niti they’re really cool” to 19708000 to register your vote.

The most creative answer will win a Maton Electric Guitar valued at $1,500. The artist with the most votes will win the People’s Choice National Musicoz Award for 2008. Voting is reflected in the Musicoz Top 10 Charts.

If you answered yes, then there’s something you can do to make that happen. Jump onto their website www.grazzhopperfestival.com.au and register for updates. When you do, leave a comment and tell them how much you want to see Nitidus crank it up at the Grazzhopper Festival. Every request counts, so get your friends and family to register too.
